May Day, Gatherers! May Day! And I say that not with the intention of scaring you wonderful Grand Geeks but to keep you reminded that as April melts away and the new month blooms that we are that much closer to FREE COMIC BOOK DAY!  Sound the applause and the cannons! Light the beacons! And I am getting way too into this, I am sure.  So before I go into full beast mode on this, lets see what you can get from your local stores before that wonderful day rolls around.

Alien Toilet Monsters #1
Writer(s): Eric Barnett, Carol Zara
Artist(s): Eric Barnett
Cover Artist(s): Eric Barnett
Publisher: Omnimorphic

Synopsis: “ALIEN TOILET MONSTERS® is a new series that finally answers the age old question: “are we alone in the universe?” The answer is both yes, and well, no. You see, it depends entirely on which universe you mean. Forbidden worlds, circular love triangles, and assuredly hard sci-fi, Alien Toilet Monsters is a densely packed mini series aimed at mature readers; it’s best quantified as a nihilistic satire that shamelessly probes the underside of humanity. Poop jokes not included.”

PREVIEWSworld

It’s not too often that we find a rather unconventional means of pursuing science fiction tropes within the realm of indie comics. Yet what we have here is the start of a new ongoing that seeks to do just that and more! With Alien Toilet Monsters, we might very well have our answers to whether we are alone in the cosmos but…probably not in the exact format we were hoping for.  Long story short, it’s all about to come down in the confines of this series…literally!

Available in digital format from http://www.alientoiletmonsters.com/ and https://www.comixology.com/.  Hardcopy format available at your LCS!
