Hello, Gatherers. A week into the New Year and already the indie comics world is booming with greatness. For my part it has been a journey of non-stop reading and joy. Now while I could prattle on of every single good work that is due out this week, that in itself would be a monstrous task that would deplete my energy and leave you bored. And your attention is all I must have, ladies and gentlemen. Even if just for a while…

Every so often there is that one book that is just so off the wall with regard to strange yet wonderfully entertaining material that you wonder why you even picked it up in the first place and then find yourself pondering how you could not indulge in such a literary odyssey. This tale of oddity is such a work that just pushes the boundaries of reality all for your reading enjoyment. The kind of book that just screams at you to read it and which you do not dare turn a blind eye to!

Limited editions for books often come with extravagant pieces of art that thrill the readership audience, and no doubt this amazing stellar work of Brian Pulido’s is no different. So not only do you get the amazing story that revolves around the titular character but the dazzling artistry of Sabine Rich to boot. Almost seems like one of those great works you do not dare to even open due to how limited release it is but, perhaps also for the fun in opening during a Day of the Dead celebration! Blacks and whites and colors all in between to satisfy your keen visual sense. A must have and collector’s item!
Strange and wonderful. Those are two words to help sum up the suggested works of this week. Tales of hyper-dimensional wizards coupled with La Muerta’s exploits and fabulous Sabine Rich art. Precious jewels indeed, and they are available at the mere click of a button on your tablet or, even better, from a mere trip to your local comic shop. Go on, show your support for them and head down to get these great volumes. Read them and share with your friends. Start up a conversation and be sure to leave a comment or two. But most importantly Gatherers, remember…GGG!
