You gotta love grindhouse-themed ideas. Where else do you get senseless violence coupled in with hot characters and dark foes to be either befriended or killed? Well you get that and much more in this work by the creator of the Sydney Hammer stories. But really, what kind of story do you really get when you combine an MMA fighter with a Nazi hunter? Why you get just about one of the most unbeatable team-ups. But do they really work together? After all, fighting Nazis and crazed scientists doesn’t exactly cross paths with vampire hunting and such. But who cares, it’s all about the fair amount of violence, am I right?!

The world created by Kieron Gillen in this work where Germany has not only managed to be a menace to the United States but the world continues to amaze with a new tale venturing into America’s New England states. It seems that the northeast is besieged by this all out Nazi war machine and Boston is now overrun. Whether the Germans can hold it in light of Russia’s mobilizing navy remains to be seen. But Sieglinde must find a way to save the Fatherland no doubt if the Reich is going to continue. But will the gambit succeed and the war continue to go in the fascist regime’s favor? Who knows friends. Read on and continue to see where the story may lead to, and if it will truly be a bleak future for the world under the swastika…or not!

April is at an end folks and spring marches on in all its glory with comic goodness. This week we were intrigued by alternate realities where Nazis have conquered the world coupled with grindhouse tales of MMA fighting babes and hunters of fascists. A strange combination as it is a great one. These are the gems that await you at the mere click of a button on your tablet, phone or keyboard. But I will encourage you to take that next step and head to your local comic store and show your support for their business by getting the hardcopies themselves.
