And I’ve already said way too much already. Let’s get it on!
Those who know me well know that I never say no to a good high fantasy book. And that is just what you get with this new series. I mean come on, who can say no to the brave female who is trying to do what’s right while evil sorcerers and demons are trying like hell to ruin her day? You get that and more. Plus, she has a nice furry mate to go along with. Seriously, this book has all you need to satisfy your fantasy appetite. Swords and sorcery at its finest with a promising set of creators behind its story.

This second pick is quite simply a weakness of mine. Arthurian legends have always been a go-to fantasy story for me to read, and this book does a great job of telling a classic Arthur tale with a bit of a macabre twist. I mean who doesn’t love a good mystery to go along with just who this honorable warrior of the court is that challenges the Round Table to a deadly duel yet seems to not fall by blade’s strike? Intrigued yet?? Thought so! Plus, who doesn’t love it when it involves everyone’s favorite time traveling brothers from Valiant? Color me green and color me sold!

There we have it for this week, Gatherers! High fantasy aplenty with tales of female heroines on the run and crazy mysterious specters posting as honorable knights. These kind of gems and others are what await you with but a click of the button on your own tablet or computer. But I would challenge you to go a step further and support the creators of these books and the outlets that sell them by going to your local comic shop and purchasing a copy yourself. Read through them and cherish them. Share them with your friends and spark up a conversation. Remember to leave a comment or two and also…GGG!
