Happy September, Gatherers and Grand Geeks! I hope everyone had an amazing Labor Day weekend. Mine was spent preparing my next session as a D&D dungeon master, going to San Pedro for a few days of Fleet Week celebration and plenty of rest and relaxation in all this warm Southern California balminess. Along the way though I still managed to find some wonderful selections I believe you should check out for this week while either surfing your computer or heading down to your local comic store.

Truly, not even the likes of Han Solo and Chewbacca have on them what Cass and Iola have when it comes to the interstellar game of bounty hunting. The two of them are just making headway in the galaxy trying to earn their reputation, but now take on a job in which they might be in over their heads. Just how smart are these Guncats anyway?!

Synopsis: “The gorgeous comic adaptation of Michael Moorcock’s world-renowned cult fantasy saga, acclaimed by the public, critics, and Moorcock himself! A year has passed since Elric left Imrryr, his palace and his throne, leaving behind a heartbroken Cymoril. For a year he has walked the Young Kingdoms, under the distant gaze of his protector, Arioch. Happiness. This is the one word that can describe this work that is, arguably, equated with the very essence of what the sword & sorcery genre is defined as. Now it seems Elric has left his birthright as Emperor and has embraced a new life as that of the lone hero. But what is to become of Melnibone now?! And the Black Sword itself? Or even poor Cymoril?
