Howdy all you Gatherers and Grand Geeks out there! I trust that all is well with you and fandom is still alive within your hearts. Things are definitely looking better and continue to improve daily. My fondest hope is maybe, just maybe to at least attend one convention before the end of the year but hey, I still wanna be safe as well. Regardless, I’ll continue to enjoy my geekdoms here while continuing the daily grind. Its a nice and June gloom sort of day, perhaps a bit of reading by the poolside is in order. But before that happens, let’s see what looks good this week!

Writer(s): Kevin Roditelli, Rob Cannon
Artist(s): Rob Cannon
Cover Artist(s): Victor Santos, Drew Moss, Dimitris Pantazis
Publisher: Behemoth Comics-Fubrak Studios
Synopsis: “A frozen apocalyptic story in the spirit of Mad Max, Fallout, and Borderlands meets Tarantino. It begins with Berny, a psychedelic addict surviving in a glacial wasteland. A fight with brutal gunslingers ensues and crazy hallucinations lead our weird hero on a quest to find the hole of truth… Yeah, a mystic hole that tells the truth. The only thing we can promise is: a lot of death!”
Anytime a book guarantees that lots and lots of death will occur, you know you’re getting your money’s worth in one hell of an amazing story. Berny’s a bit of an addict set against the backdrop of frozen apocalyptic wasteland and just gets into it with some hardcore gunslingers. Afterwards, the poor soul goes in a search, induced no doubt by psychedelic drugs, to search for a ‘mystic hole of truth.” Intriguing, no?
And there we have it for the week, folks! Wholesome tales of Riverdale adolescents combined with psychedelic druggies in frozen wastelands. These tales and so many others await you at the mere click of a button on your keyboards or at the touch of a screen on your tablets and/or phones. But knowing you love supporting local businesses just as I do, I trust you’ll head down to your comic shops this Wednesday to pick up the hardcopy issues themselves. Read them and share with your friends. Start a conversation and be sure to leave a comment or two. But most importantly, remember…GGG!
