Maddie and Tyler have an amazing discussion with comic legend, Fabrice Sapolsky, about his newest frontier in the comic industry: FairSquare Comics! Listen in!
FairSquare Comics LLC was created in June 2019 to develop, publish and distribute original comic books and graphic novels. Founded by Fabrice Sapolsky, FairSquare Comics’ mission statement is to promote and give more exposure to immigrants and under-represented creators of the world; an objective emphasized in our company’s mantra: “comics for the rest of us”.
One of FairSquare Comics’ goals is to grow into a veritable start-up. We’re pushing our own agenda while providing services to comic book publishers and creators.
Sure, other publishers will promote diversity and that’s awesome (the more, the better). But at FairSquare Comics, it’s in our DNA. We offer competitive deals to our creators in which they keep 100% of their rights. They’re also fairly compensated for their work because creating comics is not a hobby, it’s a real job!
By supporting our books such as One-Hit Wonder, Noir Is the New Black, Twin Kings’ Battle, Intertwined, Lady-Bird and all the incredible projects to come, you’re not simply supporting talent but an entire community.

Born and raised in Paris with a passion for American Comic Books, Fabrice Sapolsky is a self-made creator and entrepreneur. He is mostly known as the co-creator/co-writer of Spider-Man Noir for Marvel Comics (with David Hine). He also published creator-owned comics at Image Comics and Dynamite Entertainment. Through his 25+ years career in publishing, Fabrice also served as Editor for multiple companies on both sides of the ocean: From Albin Michel to Soleil, Jungle Comics to, most recently, Humanoids where he developed the H1 Comics and BiG imprints. He lives in Los Angeles where he founded FairSquare Comics, a publisher built to host his own projects like One-Hit Wonder, Intertwined and Lady-Bird as well as those from his amazing friends. In 2020, FairSquare Comics successfully crowdfunded Noir Is The New Black, an anthology of Noir stories from 35 Black creators. FairSquare Comics’ mission statement is “Comics For The Rest of Us”. Fabrice’s goal is to showcase and publish comics and graphic novels from immigrants and under-represented categories of creators just like him.
