I put forth a notion and summarily get destroyed. It turns out that far more sci fi movies get made than I was willing to give credit for. Seriously, once you start looking at how to define science fiction as a genre, you realize that there are a lot of movies. I’m still not ready to call most comic book films “sci fi” but I have to admit that it’s difficult to argue that they aren’t.
