Mental health is not often an issue brought up in an action game, usually being bound as a tool in the horror genre. In Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice however, the main heroine’s psychosis manifests itself as voices in your ear, some helpful, some mocking. Hallucinations and visions plague your reality, warping it to both help and hinder your travels. And always, Senua is guided on by both her own voice, and that of a strange old friend.
